WATER and BLUE: With this much water element ( BLUE) it is vital to have some earth ( the shell images are working, perhaps a bit more would be good) and some wood (thank goodness for the floors) to balance things out. If you make a big color move like this very blue scheme, understand the implications of the color to see how living with it will affect your life. Blue is very good for self confidence and calm, but in the extremes it can be depressing and isolating. Like everything else in life, balance is key.

Whereas many entrances suffer from darkness, this one is actually a study in water excess. The windows are GORGEOUS, the chandelier GORGEOUS, and all feeding the element of water. What tips us over the edge of reasonable is the reflective metal wallpaper and somewhat sharply pointed metal wall art, which take the WATER aspect to a height of overwhelm. A matte, interestingly earth toned paper and a welcoming yet neutral, unchallenged, un-aggressive piece of art can make this entryway a true prize.
